Boston Paintball offers 2 types of advance reservations & Walk On (Day Of) Play for people looking to play paintball at our field!

The number of players and the day you are looking to play are both factors in the kind of reservation you might like to make - and if you need to make one. Boston Paintball's Indoor field in Chelsea Ma is open 7 days a week - with a few restrictions.  The normal hours of operation are:

Monday & Tuesday 12-8pm

Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 12-10pm

Saturday 10am - 10pm

Sunday 10am - 8pm

With the following restrictions: The playing field is ready for walk on play (day of play) Monday - Friday starting at 3pm unless you are coming in on a holiday or on a weekend. On these days you may show up at any time during operating hours.  Please remember players must be registered 1.5 hours prior to the close of business. Advance group reservations (at least 24 hours in advance) for  6+ PLAYERS may be made for anytime any day (after 1pm weekdays) and are strongly suggested any time you want to come in and play - especially on weekends, holidays & during vacations.    Groups with 5 or less players may show up anytime to play on weekends and after 3pm during regular weekdays. Again, all players must be registered to play at least 1.5 hours before we close.

We offer group rates for groups of 10 or more - and offer them in different sized groups as well.  There is a 10 person package, a 15 person package and a 25 person package - and all can be multiplied in order to accommodate the size of the group you are trying to bring. We also offer individual rates ideal for groups with less than 10 or simply "individuals".

Group Packages are:

• prepaid (in full) and
• offer groups the opportunity to play games privately (meaning just your group on the field for that game)
• they also include food (pizza and soda) or extra paint in place of the pizza and soda
• Discount rates are offered for playing Monday - Thursday
• are booked at certain times (sessions)
• Must be booked at least 48 hours in advance
• These reservations are the only kind that do offer private games and the private game aspect is usually the number one reason people book this type of reservation.  To be clear, there may be other people playing the same day on the same field, but by booking a pre-paid reservation - when your group takes the field, there will be only your players playing.

We also offer a

Standard Reservation option, which:

• requires no money up front so everything can be paid for on site the day of play, and is more flexible in terms of the type of player package offered to those playing.
• can be booked for any time of day with 6 or more players (unlike group packages that are booked into "sessions") and groups with 5 or less may book after 3pm on weekday non-holidays / vacations
• Must be booked at least 24 hours in advance
• Standard reservations guarantee that your group will have time and equipment on the day that they want to play - and on arrival players will be able to choose the individual package that best suits their needs.
• Individual rates are determined by the number of paintballs and type of equipment the player wants to get.
• Standard reservations are not private, your players will play with other players of similar skill level but we always recommend to any group with 6 players of more.  This type of reservation is usually ideal for groups that are uncertain of the number of players they may actually have - and leaves no one footing the bill for those who may have a change of heart.

The best way to decide what reservation fits your situation is to get an approximate number of players and go from there!

New For Ages 8+

Presenting JT Splatmaster designed for players ages 8 - 11 years old (only!)

What this is and how it differs from the regular version of paintball is this:

* Players will use a spring-loaded pump gun

* Gun holds only 14 paintballs

* Velocity is cut in half (instead of 280 feet per second they are 140 feet per second)

* Use a smaller paintball (Instead of .68 caliber these are .50 caliber)

Players will be allowed to participate in these group packages at the age of 8 instead of 10 (in other words, we are NOT allowing 8 & 9 year olds to play paintball from now on - players age 8 & 9 may participate in these types of group reservations only!) We offer this at the Indoor Chelsea Field only.

If some of your players have already played paintball, are 10 years old and enjoyed the regular version - this is probably not for them.  The idea behind this is to allow younger players to get an idea of paintball without the full on version - it is a step up from laser tag that offers the excitement of an actual splatter!

The group packages offer 3 hours of private games, entrance & equipment for up to 10 players, 2 large pizzas & sodas and unlimited paintballs for the length of your session.  Players MUST be between the ages of 8-11 (with the exception made for a mom/dad or older sibling etc)

This type of reservation must be booked and paid in full at least 48 hours in advance - we do NOT offer this in any other version (walk-on, groups of less than 10 etc)

And For Ages 10+

10 Person Private Game

Small Group Private Game Option 1 for up to 10 players: This type of reservation is a pre-paid package rate for a group of up to 10. It includes "private*" games, equipment rental (marker, mask, air) for those needing rentals, and all day air for those who have their own.  It also includes 2000 paintballs for the group and 2 large cheese pizzas and 2 Two-liters of soda OR 2500 paintballs total (so in other words, you have the choice of an extra 500 paintballs instead of pizza and soda - which you can decide on the day of) Additional players (up to 4) may pay the day of for as low as $25.00 a person. Package Rate is $349.99 and is discounted $50 when group plays Monday - Thursday (any time except on holidays or during school vacations). Package Rate honored when reservation/ payment is made at least 48 hours in advance.

Group Rates / Times are limited and subject to availability on a first come first serve basis.  Once your reservation has been made final we will email you confirmation!

Players and Guests must be at least 10 years old - and groups are allowed a max of 4 Guest passes each.  Jumpsuits and chest protectors are optional items and are not included.
